Promotions and New Faces

Michael Gutbrod, Principal

Michael Gutbrod was promoted to Principal this past year, recognizing his contributions across Santé’s biotech portfolio. Since joining in 2021, he has brought a strong scientific perspective shaped by prior roles at MIT and Harvard, along with a PhD in Biological Sciences from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

Jeff Crawford, Head of Finance

Jeff Crawford joined Santé in 2026 and leads the firm’s finance and compliance functions. He previously served as CFO across a range of organizations, including Gothams, NantWorks, and major media companies, and began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers advising on M&A and capital markets.

Steve Hahn, MD, Senior Advisory Board Member

Steve Hahn, MD, is a former head of the US FDA, and is CEO-Partner of Flagship Pioneering and Chief Executive Officer of Harbinger Health. He joined the Santé Senior Advisory Board in 2026.
