Charlene is a healthtech operator and biotech entrepreneur with deep expertise in scaling healthcare innovation from early-stage research to national adoption. She joins Santé from Stanford Biodesign, where she recently graduated from their flagship Innovation Fellowship.

Previously, Charlene was the first commercial lead at Cyted Health, where she helped bring a novel diagnostic test for early oesophageal cancer from pilot to national adoption across the UK – securing $5 million in non-dilutive funding, building a $2.5 million revenue pipeline, and contributing to raising $77 million (seed to Series B).

She has since consulted for seed-stage healthtech startups, accelerators, and VC funds across London, Boston, and Copenhagen. In 2025, she co-founded NXGN, a community of 2,000+ health innovation leaders across the UK and US.

Charlene studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, graduating first-in-class in Biochemistry. Based on her academic research, she co-founded AptaBridge Therapeutics, a DNA-based cancer immunotherapeutics venture, incubated at Johns Hopkins.
