Stéphane is a Venture Fellow / Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Santé, where he focuses on the ideation and incubation of new companies. Additionally, he supports Santé’s biotech team in identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities.

With over 20 years of experience in oncology research and development, as well as external innovation, Stéphane brings deep expertise to Santé. Previously, he served as Chief Scientific Officer at Infinity Pharmaceuticals, overseeing preclinical research, translational medicine, and CMC for the clinical development of eganelisib, a first-in-class PI3Kγ inhibitor for cancer immunotherapy.

Before Infinity, Stéphane was Vice President and Global Head of Oncology External Innovation at Ipsen, leading efforts to identify, evaluate, and secure high-quality oncology assets. He began his career as a medicinal chemist at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, where he played a key role in the discovery of first-in-class E1 inhibitors, including the NAE inhibitor MLN4924.

Stéphane graduated from the École Supérieure de Chimie Industrielle de Lyon (ESCIL) in France, obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, and completed postdoctoral studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
